Teaser Tuesday (Sept. 25)

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:

• Grab your current read
• Open to a random page
• Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
• BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
• Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

"I try to remind myself when I feel great like this
that there will be another terrible week
coming someday, so I should store up as
many great details as I can, so during the next
terrible week I can remember those details and
believe I'll feel great again. It doesn't work a lot,
but I think it's very important to try."

~From The Perks of Being a Wallflower~

a few of my favorite things:
good book, pumpkin spice frap
and just barley seen, hubby
(that's his hand back there)

    1. The book is sad. It has laugh out loud moments too but deals with some heavy stuff. It was a pretty amazing read truthfully.

  3. Why ruin a good day thinking of a possible bad day that didn't even happen. I don't like her outlook.

  5. I agree that it's important to savor joyful moments. Too bad she can't just LIVE IN those moments instead of worrying about storing them up. This sounds sad.
